Autosomal dominant example-

• The disease occur with 3 consecutive generations (Aa), this never happens with recessive traits.
• Males and females are affected equally but with exception in some case.
• Affected children (aa)will usually have an affected parents(Aa).
• Two affected parents (Aa)can have uninfected child(aa).
• Two unaffected parents(aa) will not have affected children(aa).
•  Examples of autosomal dominant diseases include Huntington disease, neurofibromatosis and polycystic kidney disease.
